EXAMIQ

Preparing for Armenia’s driving theory exam

Personal product · UX/UI · 20263 min read

An iPhone app for learning Armenia’s driving theory, with Russian and Armenian interfaces, practice modes and an AI tutor. A personal product combining UX/UI design with AI-assisted development.

Make preparation easier to navigate

EXAMIQ brings driving theory practice into a mobile interface. The design goal was to make preparation less overwhelming: give learners a clear starting point, manageable learning steps and visible progress.

From interface design to a published app

My contribution covered user flows, visual design, prototyping and AI-assisted implementation. The project let me develop the interface beyond static screens, while using AI tools to support the development process.

One experience, two languages

Russian and Armenian share the same navigation and learning structure. Typography, spacing and component layouts account for different text lengths. Language switching is designed to preserve the learner’s place in the interface.

A visible learning path

A game-like path breaks practice into stages. Topic-based exercises and review of mistakes provide different ways to return to the material. Consistent cards, clear states and familiar navigation keep the learning screens connected.

Practice, explanations and AI support

The app includes an AI tutor that explains the current question and its illustration. The wider product workflow also covers bilingual question content and its review. The focus of the interface is to keep questions, explanations and learning progress easy to find.

A shared visual language for content

A separate video-generation workflow reuses learning material and the app’s visual design for short videos. This connects the content workflow with the product rather than creating a separate visual style for every format.

Published on the App Store

EXAMIQ is available on the App Store. The case brings together the interface, Russian and Armenian learning scenarios and the move from prototype to release. React Native, Expo, TypeScript, Node.js and PostgreSQL are part of the product’s technical stack; implementation was supported by AI tools.
